It has taken forever...

  1. I finally took some time away from other projects and got to work on uploading some new photos to my website www.bigblueimages.com

If any of you have looked at it for the last few months you will see i had taken all of the photos off of the site.

Although i have added nothing to any of the old galleries, they are still blank, i have added a bunch of stuff from Yap and Palau to the site under New Images.

I will try to get some of the old stuff back up soon but it is a case of priorities at the moment. Am also thinking of redesigning the whole look of the site but with the slow access here etc it is on the backburner.

When you get to the site just go to the right hand side and hit new images, the lionfish eyeball...

    All comments welcome

    Mike

  2. Nice stuff, Mike. I like the Manta train B+W shot although I might clone out the partial manta in the upper left corner. The aerials are very nice as well. I always enjoy the bird's eye view of famous dive sites.

  4. Hi Mike,

Is German Channel a natural or a man-made cut? Holy cr*p!

    Cheers

    That's an excellent shot!

I agree with James regarding the channel... holy cr*p is right!

  6. Thanks for the comments guys, and the direct links.

German Channel, definitely man made, only those efficient germans could ever make something so straight.

Best thing is going through there with your boat at night in a tropical downpour...its not lit up like the normal world...

  7. Great selection of images Mike. Several caught my eye. The tight head shot of the Tomato anemone fish is really nice. You also managed to take a beautiful shot of the Pixy Hawkfish. I hate it when someone takes a common fish like that and turns it into a work of art. While I continue to swim right on by. Thanks for sharing the shots. If you had Mantas there, I'd consider coming out for a dive... :)

  8. Good collection, Mike! You have very nice macro pics, specially 3204 and 3624, and the blue you take at the mantas is really beautiful!

3287 is great!, that shark opening its mouth is amazing!

    Thanks for sharing

  9. I still adore the 2546 manta shot. It fabulous. I've looked at it many times and still enjoy looking at that picture.

  10. Mike,

I really like the layout of the pics on your website. Very easy to navigate! I love the Lionfish Face close-up, what a great shot!
