I'm running two back to back trips to Kilkieran Bay and Achill Island next year. To make them viable I need to get 10~12 people on each so that the dive operator can run them. They will suit:
experienced, dry-suited, cold-water divers with the ability to fit into diverse groups of people - some places have gone already and the people signed up are extremely experienced with 25~40 years diving behind them, mostly marine conservationists and biologists!. The emphasis is on natural history photography and the trips I have run in the past were, as these will be, somewhat exploratory. We end up diving all sorts of seabeds including mud, seagrass, maerl, reefs, etc. We usually add to the known species lists in the areas. They are not commercial trips but I run them so that I can access places otherwise difficult to dive. If anyone is interested they are in June 2006 and I can email full details.
