Venezuelan cannibals

  1. Just got my slides back (yes, I know, but my D2x is still waiting for its housing), and thought I could share this photo that I took in Venezuela a few weeks ago. The fish is an Emblemariopsis ramirezi, eating a small juvenile of the same species (I think). I will let you guys know when I put my Venezuela gallery online.

    Photo info:

    Camera: Nikon F100

Lens: 60mm micro Nikkor (yes, I had to get *very* close, this hungry fish was about 2.5cm long).

Flashes: Ikelite 100a and Nikonos SB105

    Housing: Sea&Sea NX100

    Comments are appreciated.

  4. That's very cool, Luiz. I think that we can just about trust you on the IDs of these guys.
