I just like this Nudi shot

It's not great but there is something I just like about this shot....

That is good, i like the limited DOF and the good saturation on the nudbranch isolating it from the grass. Gotta ask, using macro strobes for that shot? Good lighting control.

Perhaps a vert composition would give a touch of a tighter feel to the shot but your leading line with the grass works well as a horiz.

Stats on above shot 1/100 sec, f/7.1, strobes about 1/4power 2xS&S 90DX w/diffusers. D100, Nikon 60mm. Was a really small critter and had to get real close, and the current was moving the grass all around, more luck than anything else.

I think it's a very nice pic, good sharpness and lightning. I like the black background, I think it emphasizes the beauty of the animal.
