Question about Olympus C-770 focusing in low light

  1. Dear,

     

    I have a problem with the Olympus C-770 in a PT-022 housing. In low light conditions it has problems with focusing (every camera of course) and it has a major shutter lag. I previously owned a Olympus C-50 and when I used a focus light I pressed the shutter button half then I turned the focus light off and you had a perfectly sharp image. But the same procedure doesn't seem to work with this camera. Does anybody have an idea? Maybe some other presets in manual mode?
