I've read quite a bit about the Sony DSC-V3 being a good choice as a underwater digital camera in it's price range (re AF speed in particular), but so far I don't think I've found a single sample image from this camera. Does anyone have any links to pictures taken with this camera? Perhaps I've just not been looking in the right place to see some good examples of what this camera is capable of. If you've actually used it underwater, would you be willing to share your experiences?
Was it easy to use?
Is the AF as good as some have said (were you pleased with the performance)?
Did you try the RAW mode? If so, did you find it frustraiting to wait for the camera or was the delay reasonable and not that big a deal between shots?
How is the battery life? Also, how quickly does the charger recharge the battery?
Other than the lack of TTL control for a strobe and the delay when writing RAW files, are there any drawbacks you would tell a prospective buyer about?
TIA,
Steve
