Helix Photo of Chicago recently advertised a very small slave strobe for $35. Perfect to do back lighting and to put light into a crevice that is too small for main strobes. So I bought 2. They arrived and one was defective out of the box. Sent it back. Examined the second and did not like the O-ring, so I pulled the electronics, closed it up - properly - dove it and it flooded. It went back and I received 2 more. Dove one w/o electronics and it stayed dry, so I put the electronics in and dove it - it flooded.
All went back...
Great idea, poor design.
On well...
Now I will look for an old Ikelitre MS that will do the same job.
