Help for SLR in wet conditions

4 posts
  1. I am a professional nature photographer with a Nikon D70 and D2x. I'm not a diver, but I sometimes find myself in very wet condition above water--kayaking, wading waist deep, etc. I'd like to find a simple waterproof bag to protect my D70 from splashes and maybe underwater 3 or 4 feet max.

I've found the the Ewa marine bags very difficult to use. The Aquapac bags are easy to use, but they don't make one to fit the D70. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

  2. Hi David,

I am not familiar with the Aquapac bags. Do you have a link?

The D70 is not a particularly usual shaped camera. Is there a bag for the Nikon D100, F80, or Fuji S2 available?

    Alex

  3. Aquapac and the Supported models by it.

Its really strange, they have a product for SLR/DSLR that doesn't support most of the popular models.

  4. Here's the link to Aquapac. Yes, it doesn't make sense that their SLR bag won't fit such a common camera. Their bags are very good for the money.
