Anyone having problems with soft/out of focus images with their D2x? I have been playing with mine for a month or so now and have noticed images that were significantly softer than those I got with my S2.
I started the research to see if I was the only one and found many posts on different forums regarding soft/out of focus images including Nikonians.com, Nikoncafe.com.
I've done a couple of objective tests which support a back focus issue and am planning on sending my D2x to Nikon on Tuesday.
Any here on Wetpixel having similar issues?
I recently experienced some focus trouble after I have changed the optional screen-viewfinder, which was not fully clamped. After i retried it was ok again. maybe this is the problem?

No, I have not notice any problem with mine although I was being paranoid after reading all those posts in other forums and really tried very hard to convince myself that when the picture did not look good, it was the camera and not my fault
My 2 other divebuddies who bought the D2Xes also did not notice any problem with their particular units.
No problem with mine either, but I haven't fully tested it yet (and never will, I guess), I hate just sitting there and testing a camera. If a focus issue appears during normal use, I will just send it to Nikon. They say the turn around time for Nikon service is less than 2 weeks.
