DEMA 2002

Hi, guys! Both Dave Breitigam and I were at DEMA for a couple of days, roaming around collecting information. We'll have a trip report up soon!

You are definately right about Chris and Monique Fallows. Great people. I think I may have mentioned that to you on the trip.

I sure would have been nice to see some of those people again and to meet many of the others.

Hey, Todd. Actually, I felt really out of place, at times. These people were at the top of the photo and video field, and I was just some dude who had just gotten his underwater set-up last year. Watt kept introducing me as "Obiwan," which is ridiculous, cuz... well, the entire Jedi counsel was there.

I also prefer not to be introduced by my given trip name. People may get the wrong idea.

Yeah, I went. I talked to Ike and L&M and a bunch of other makers. However, as usual, the coordination for a possible gathering at the DEMA convention was not planned well, even though I posted something a month ago.

Doesn't really matter since I was super busy with seminars, checking out new product, and getting training on some new equipment.

I didn't see you or Dave on the show floor... it was really easy to miss people.

you know what? *I* didn't even get to see Dave! But I did meet David Haas and Rod Klein, both of whom I had been in touch with only through e-mail.
