  2. Personally I find it hard to use.

The menu at the bottom is very confusing confusing. It feals like it is just a random collection of words with no hints as to what they are.

The categorys need to be distinguised from the subcategorys. For example you have:

    photography underwater landscape

three words in a row with just spaces in between them. I had a lot of difficulty figuring out what this means. You need some thing that makes the photography stand out as different than underwater and landscape. Yes you used slightly different colours of grey text but the colours are so close it is very hard to see the difference.

Then is the subcategorys. Is it "underwater landscape" or are there two subcategorys "unerwater" and "landscape" Again you need something besides a single space to break it up or you just read it all as one thing.

Something like this is much easier to read

    Photography

.......Underwater (the ....'s are supposed to be a tab or indentation but wetpixel was ignoring my spaces so I had to put dots)

    .......Landscape

Or maby buttons with clear edges. But you need somthing to tell the reader when to stop or else it gets read as "photography underwater landscape" and you have no clue how to interpret that.

The thumbnails are way too small. I can not tell at all what the pictures are of before you click on them. They are so small that it took me a while to realize they were changing when I clicked on different categorys.

And it takes too long for each picture to load. The animations are neet but slow things down too much for my patience.

  3. Thanks for the constuktiv kritik

I was to thinking that may the navigation is only logical tfor me :D

The thumbs are small? what resolution do you have on you monitor?

The pictures are slow to load ? Do you have Broadband connection?

If I get more input with all the problems I will change some thinks.

    Thanks lambis

  4. My monitor is 1600x1200. The thumbnails show up as 35px across. I think that 50px is the minimum size that a thumbnail can be on any resolution monitor and have enough detail to be usefull.

Yes, broadband connection (cable) in the USA. It takes me 5 seconds to load an image the first time. The next time I load the image when it is still in my cash it takes 2.5 seconds so half of the load time has nothing to do with internet connection.

  5. 1600x1200 Wow

Normaly this days the webpage must be optimised to 1024*768 or 1280*1024

Any resolution above or under will have some problems

But still you are right. My thumbs are only 40x40. But I can make the page wider and use 75*75 pixels for the thumbs

Any resolution above or under will have some problems

Try to take a look att my webpage att 800*600 : It will never work

When you develop a webpage you must always think witch resolution the majiority off the viewes have and these days it is a 1024*768 or 1280*1024

The Images take to long to load . You are right. I havent optimize them

  6. Hi,

I think the speed is ok on a broadband connection in the UK. But the thumbs are definitely too small as you can't make an informed decision if you want to look at the bigger picture (I'm using 1280x1024).

I can see the difference in colour between photography and the following words but it is not clear whether it is an "underwater landscape" or they are two different categories until you click on them.

    i like the pictures though.

    Mark
