Help - Canon Fisheye Filter size?

  1. For reasons that I am sure many of you can guess, I would like to know the drop in gelatin filter size for the Canon 15mm FE.

Please provide the filter size in mm - so that we can ensure it(!) fits your lenses.

    Thanks

    Alex

  2. Oh, and before you all say ask Canon, I already did:

    Incident Number 1982238

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L USM and

    EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye.

Regrettably, we do not have any information on the filter size for these

    lenses.

  3. :) Lord praise the Nikon's :D
  4. <_< :(:):D:(:D

Customer service, another reason to buy Nikon.... :D:):D

  5. Dang it Jean you beat me to it!

  6. Ho, ho, children. :)

The only reason I didn't have to ask Nikon is that I already have the lens. They may not have been any more helpful either!

Alex, just checked my counter, sold out of 15mm & 14mm Canon for now, but just in case here is the dimension for a Tamron 14mm filter if ever asked.

    25mm high to 27mm wide

Just checked into the box of brand new Nikon 10.5mm, there is a template included and double checked with Nikon Canada they had the info back to me within 5 minutes B).
