Roatan is very good diving. Nice walls and coral.

Advice - Take plenty of DEET. Use it when you get up in the morning before you go out and often during the day, especially for the evening (No see-ums). It will make the differece between having a great time and being miserable. We did great until the last part of our trip, we got complacent and paid for it.

Favorite Dive sites - Mary's Place, Hole-in-the-Wall, Bear's Den

Things to Do - Visit the village of West End, Drive up the mountain for some nice 360 views. There was a restauraunt up there but it's just OK.

Things to skip - Iguana Farm

Things to Take - DEET, DEET, and more DEET. Forget about the others (Skin So Soft, garlic , etc.)

And bring enough vitamin B pills. When combined with a good insect repellant, you'll probably get by with very few bites.
