  1. Well i have gone through about 10 whole shots now...kinda busy editing some video so not paying much attention to my stills..

Heres a few samples i have thrown up on the New Images section of my website.

I like the motion blur on the baby turts as it gives a sense of motion.

Let me know what you think

  7. I love the last one Mike!

  8. Very cool! I personally like the perspective of the third shot very much.

Turtle island? Somewhere near Yap, I assume!

  9. Oops guess i didn't explain that did i?

Its an island named Gielop, located outside of Ulithi Atoll (once home to the US navy near the end of WWII) about 100 miles to the north of Yap proper.

Its just a tiny island that can be walked around in about 15 or 20 mins. Every year Green Turtles come up on the beach to lay eggs. i went there last week to document this as well as the attachment of the first satellite transmitter of a turtle in Micronesia. Spent 5 days camping on the beach and wandering around at night counting eggs, tagging turtles etc etc. As of my departure last week they had tagged over 300 different turtles!

    Was a great experience.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, and huguito...love that expression, can make a rock smile...
