Pity abot the last one (above) it is avery good file but when saving to the web I seem to have done something wrong - this is my last one as I seem to fighting Eric's file settings also:

What is a good file setting size for you guys out there? I did some tests just now, and 50Kb is not enough.

I've just changed it to 64kb, as I've found that a complex macro shot can be sized down to 500x333 and compressed to fit in that amount of file space.

Here's a highly-compressed image of a flamingo-tongue nudibranch. It is 47.9Kb. There are jpeg artifacts visible, but i think it gets the point across. At a slightly smaller size the quality is visibly better, too.

I have just been reducing some files in photshop and the 64K limit is definitely more acheivable that the 50K limit whilst using a higher quality setting for the JPEG image - many thanks!

One thing I could figure out though was how to delete a post with an image in it.

this is the last one I promise!

What about a gallery ?
