If your image is under 50 k you can attach it to your post directly from your hard drive. It's easier than using one of those bleaming online hosting services that won't let you link to your own photo.

But on the other hand, it puts more of a strain on server resources.

Love to see that Octo pic though.

The limit is 64kb now, so you should be able to post fairly large images.
