can you tell me what nudi is this one??

this photo was taken in the river of Vigo on the northwest of spain. the nudi is on a mussel which is hung on a rope of a marine mussels farm.

Hi Pepe,

I think it is a species of the genus Flabellina, but I can't tell which species for sure. There is a lot of people here that really know their nudis, so I am sure you will get an answer soon.

Saludos,

Luiz

Hi Pepe --

I've sent your image to our nudi branch specialist Angel Valdes who's from Spain so we should get an id pretty soon.

Cheers, Leslie

Angel said it's Facelina auriculata (Muller 1776). You can get more information about it on the Sea Slug Forum at http://www.seaslugforum.net/factsheet.cfm?base=faceauri
