  2. Hi Claustro,

Welcome to wetpixel! These are really great to be your first underwater shots. The one advice we give here for beginners is "get closer", but it seems that you've already learned that. The color is excellent (at leats in my monitor) and you have a good eye for composition. The one picture less appealing to me is the orange gorgonian (#5), I think it lacks a clear subject. The out of focus area on the foreground of the moray shot is distracting, but it is still an interesting picture from the conservation point of view because it clearly shows the hook on the moray's mouth.

    Well done!

  3. Not bad.

Your divelight is a bit to hot (to much red in it) for macro shoots, and at your wideangle picture it just light up a small portion (hot spot) in the center of the image.

I'm not familiar with the camera, but you should consider to get a strobe or two. Or get a diffusor/video reflector on your dive light to get a more even lighting (wideangle).

    ;)

  4. I agree with Ingvald. The white ballance is a little too Red. You should be able to improve this somewhat in photoshop. Besides that the pictures are excelent.

  5. THese are your first UW photos? I'd say you did a pretty fantastic job, i know my first shots didn't look like that!

Really loving that clownfish great composition.
