Inon lenses with Nikon 8400?

2 posts
  1. Help!

Im trying to work out if I could use Inon wet lenses with the Nikon 8400 (+ikelite housing), specifically the stackable macro ones.

From Ikelite's website it looks as though you cant use them?

Also....I have managed to narrow my search for a new camera to either the Nikon 8400, the Olympus 7070 or the Canon G6. I'm leaning towards the Nikon cause of wide angle ability (although I want to be able to take good macro shots too). Having real problems deciding and trying to weigh up ttl capabilities, raw write times, sensor sizes etc etc Have read and re-read everything I can find on dpreview and others and have ended up going round in circles. ;)

I think I just need someone to make a decision for me!

    Any thoughts/ advice appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jo

  2. You can defiently use the Inon UCL-165 Macro Lens with the Coolpix 8400 - I use it all the time. You will get slight vignetting on the sides if you haven't zoomed in at all.... however it is macro photography so of course you will have zoomed in! ;)

Here are two pics I took 2 days ago with the Inon UCL165 macro and CP8400.
