Finally got off my butt and updated two galleries

I have chosen a different style for protection as well as naming the photographer on each image.

Please let me know what you think. Am assuming i will receive a few comments about the watermark but i hate theft so....

Thanks,

Mike

Outstanding Mike! There are so many great photos that I can't pick a favorite.

your pictures are fabulous, but the watermarks are very distracting

Hi Mike,

I agree that your photos are fabulous. I don't like the watermarks because they destroy the subject in many of your photos.

The idea of the watermark is to make something that thieves cannot remove and that is as inobtrusive as possible, IMO. Yours do the former, but they damage the "wow factor" too much for the latter.

Hope this is some contstructive feedback.

Cheers

James

Great stuff. A real treat to see them.

I understand your use of watermarks, and think that they are fine on the large versions, but are too distractiing on the thumbnails.

Alex

Thanks for the comments everyone. I understand the watermark is distracting, will probably make it a little less intrusive on the next batch but will keep it bang in the middle. Unfortunately, the way i create the galleries the thumbnails come from the larger photo so i don't think i can do anything about that...some day i'll make a fancy flash site (or have someone make it more likely... )

Alex, seeing as everyone was posting these for you a couple of weeks ago, here is one on the fish site i thought you would appreciate.
