  1. Just back from Bali. Slightly delayed by a broken 747!

Myself and the group had a phenominal trip - and saw so many creatures (I'll post the pictures subsequently). The quality of the diving there is astounding, made all the more impressive as you can stay at wonderful resorts along the way, on a beautiful island with some of the friendliest and most cultrally interesting people anywhere. The only downer was that we didn't see any Mola mola on the day we went looking :P

I haven't got the energy to do anything with my main pix yet, but as an appetizer here are my Magic shots from Bali. From two dives at Menjangan Island with the 16mm:

and one at Manta Point on Nusa Penida with the 10.5mm:

  3. Very encouraging results with the magic filter. I have to admit some of the results I've seen posted so far have left me wondering. I'll get to try mine at the end of October in Cozumel. Can't wait to see the rest of your stuff.

  4. Looks pretty natural. No strobes?

  5. Joe, that's how the magic filter works, it brings the color back without the need for strobes. :P It is great for large animals and reef scenics.
