  1. Ok so ive been doing surf photography from land and i want to get in the water. How will i be able to focus? will i have to manually focus a certain distance before i go out or will i have to keep pressing the manual focus and look through the eye piece? please help

  2. I dont think any of us here are into surf photography. Mostly scuba photography. There are probably better websites for you than this one if your questions get any more complicated than this.

But a good housing will not hinder your ability to focus however you did on land. You can use AF, MF or preset/hyperfocal, which ever you prefer.

  3. Hi Flea.

Like William says - not too many of us are in the surf photography game, but a guy called David Troyer has some wicked stuff over on photo.net. He uses an old EOS630 and a Canon 15 mm fisheye lens. Not sure on the housing, but he might answer an email?

It is worth going over for a look just for inspiration. This guy is GOOD.

    Hope this helps.
