Species ID ??

Caught this little guy on a sponge off Cozumel on Palancar in 55 feet of water.

Hmmm, maybe family Mithracidae, but awfully small for an id! Can you enlarge & sharpen just the crab? It looks like part of the legs may be flattened which might give us a clue as to genus.

Unfortunately, trying to enlarge beyond this one, doesn't improve the resolution. If it helps, the crab did appear to have bits of coral adhering to it's body, although drifting by and trying to photograph this guy didn't lend itself to a better shot at the time !

Probably a crab expert would know it immediately but you're stuck with me for now and I can't go beyond family. Sorry! I'll send it off to a crusty friend & see if he do better.
