For Sale: Pair of Retra Pro X Strobes + Extensive Accessory Package – €2,500

I am selling my complete set of two Retra Pro X strobes together with a large selection of original Retra accessories.

Both strobes were purchased on January 30, 2023 and have always performed flawlessly. They have never flooded and have been very well cared for.

According to the Retra app, the current trigger counts are:

• Retra Pro X #1: 11,902 flashes

• Retra Pro X #2: 12,768 flashes

Both strobes are running firmware 4.2 and are fully up to date. Screenshots from the Retra app are attached.

The strobes themselves are in good used condition. The snoot and some of the diffusers show cosmetic scratches from normal underwater use, but these have absolutely no effect on their function.

One of the Battery Boosters had a faulty contact when it arrived new from the factory. The contact was replaced with a considerably sturdier one and has worked reliably ever since. There is now a small amount of surface rust visible on that replacement contact, as shown in the photos.

Otherwise, I have taken very good care of the entire set. Several accessories, including the Reduction Rings and Macro Rings, have never been used.

I would strongly prefer to sell everything as one complete set.

Why am I selling them? I am now representing Marelux as a Senior Influencer and have switched my underwater lighting system accordingly. Having the Retras sitting unused on a shelf would simply be a waste.

That being said, the Retra Pro X strobes have been absolutely superb for me. I have used them extensively for both macro and blackwater photography and have always been extremely happy with their performance.
