Rubber bumper on the bottom of housing
So many times we are blind for the most obvious.... Thanks Tim for opening my eyes. And thanks for all of you that shared solutions for my problem. I contacted Aquatica and I got a quick and useful answer. Thanks Blake. The solution Aquatica advised is to clean properly the spot on the housing and the rubber pad and to use Gorilla glue or Krazy glue.

Rubber bumper on the bottom of housing
Hi. My housing is an Aquatica, for Canon 7D MkII. I do not have the housing with me so I am not able to share the picture, but I found a picture at internet of a Sub housing where I pointed the rubber protection pads on the bottom I am talking about. One of them got loose. How do I glue/attach it properly to the housing?

Rubber bumper on the bottom of housing
Hi. One of the rubber bumpers on the bottom of my underwater housing has unglued from the housing. How should I glue it again, granting a proper adherence, so I do not loose the rubber part and that is stays at it's place doing it's job? Thanks! Pedro Alves

Inon Z-XXX Prototype at Paris Dive Show
Well, if you want to use the strobe off-camera with a Triggerfish Slave Sensor, you need the electrical plug. It is easier to hide the strobe and put only the triggerfish slave in line of view.

Dome cleaning
Thanks Dave. I do not know if the Aquatica 8” Acrylic Dome Port is coated. Is it the Novus 1 safe to use if the inner is coated? Do you know if it might damage a possible coat? Thanks

Dome cleaning
Hi. At my last dive trip I had an incident with my dome: the reef moved and hit the dome. I had to decide for a love and care treatment. It is an acrílic dome (Aquatica), so I went through the micro mesh process followed by “novus” 2 and 1 and the dome became in good shape on the outside. But, when looking deeper to the dome, it seams it needs some cleaning in the inside. I see some light risks/ marks. I do not know if it is really risks or some marks from previous attempts to clean/take out some dust that might got inside the dome. How can I clean it properly without damaging it? Is it possible to use any kind of solvent/detergent without damaging the dome. Thanks!

Hello from Portugal
Hi everybody. Thanks to the waterpixels team for the development of this new location of discussion and knowledge sharing on underwater image. as I understood, it will not be easy to bring all the legacy from wetpixel forum. It would be interesting if it was possible to bring the “rating” (community reputation) for the members that are moving from wetpixel. This would help to protect the community from “predatory” users that unfortunately will come to this new site. i am sure the team will be able to think about a secure way to validate this passage (via PM on wetpixel with the user identifying the new user at waterpixels?)
