Don't know if diving and snorkeling spots are also discussed on the WaterPixels forums, but if so, I would greatly appreciate tips on the best, most photo-friendly snorkeling spots in the Seychelles. I'll be going there in early May next year and hope to bring back loads of beautiful underwater photos, including material for magazines and newspapers.

In addition to using professional system cameras like EOS 5D Mark IV etc., I have used and enjoyed different GoPro versions for many above-water excursions over the years. However, when it comes to underwater photography I am uncertain as to what photo quality, resolution and light sensitivity to expect. What are your experiences, and which GoPro versions could you recommend for those curious about using GoPro for UW?

Hello, New member here, but interested in snorkeling ever since I first stuck my nose below the water surface in the Red Sea and the Maldives - and interested in photography since like forever. Freelance journalist based in Sweden, but travelling extensively across the world (www.joakimradstrom.com). Bought an underwater housing for my Canon EOS Mark IV, but found it a bit unwieldy. Therefore, happy to hear suggestions for equipment that combine excellent photo quality with light weight.
