  1. Nauticam NA-EM1III housing for an included Olympus EM1 MkIII camera. The housing and camera were purchased in mid-2021 and are in great condition. I purchased this set-up as an upgrade from my TG6 and it has been a joy to learn and use. I consider this set-up to be a significant upgrade from a compact camera and noticed an improvement in image quality as soon as I made the switch. If you are interested in seeing photos taken with this camera, please check out my instagram markgreen_uwimagery. The package comes complete with the original boxes and hard Nauticam housing case, allen wrench set, 2 x housing O-rings, cloth and lubricant. Most importantly, also included is an upgrade to the housing in the form of the Nauicam M14 Vacuum Valve System for peace of mind when under the water. The camera comes with a flash, strap, a spare battery, an OEM single charger and a 2-port compact charger that’s easier to travel with. Also included are the two books that I studied to learn how to use this camera. The camera is in mint condition as it has had 80% if its use inside the housing and has 30,942 actuations. The housing has a few dings to the paint as can expected from being on a dive boat but is in excellent working condition and has never been flooded. The paint has faded in some areas which is typical of Nauticam housings. The housing has been soaked and all the buttons pressed after every dive and has been cleaned and stored in a cool, dry place between trips. The set-up has enjoyed approximately 14, 5-6 dive day trips at 3-4 dives a day for a total of approximately 270 hours underwater so has plenty use left. I am selling it as I am changing to a different camera. Nauticam have discontinued this housing, so if you have an OM1 MkIII and you have been looking for a housing, now is your chance as I will consider reasonable offers for the housing and vacuum valve system alone. According to an on-line search, this is the only housing for this camera that is currently available in the current market. Housing W/Vacuum available for $1,200.00. Price for camera and housing $1,895.00 Shipping is available at buyers expense.
  2. Heading to Cozumel next week and I am hoping to complete my first Blackwater dive. I remember Alex Mustard talking about using the Retra Reflectors on his Retra Flash for Blackwater, but I am unable to find the article/reference. What I am hoping to learn is whether the reflectors are used to cut down on backscatter using inward lighting/crossed strobes or are used in a typical macro strobe position to create faster recycle times due to the extra stop of light the reflectors generate. I am also unsure of the best strobe position and jump settings for my Olympus Em1 Mk2 with the Panasonic 30mm and hoping the group may be able to help with these queries or point me in the direction of the article or reference. Thanks so much
