I'm still caught in that debate on FF vs APS-C.
Currently I have Sony a6300 (Fantasea housing) and I want to upgrade it but I don't know to ehich camera... a6700 / A7rIV / A7IV.
Housing will be either used nauticam / issota or a new marelux system.
The 6700 is the easy choise as it is cheaper and more compact option
The a7riv is the more high end and more expensive option
I believe the a7iv is somewhere in between.
My wallet say to go with the a7riv but my heart wants the a7riv.
I'm doing mostly macro (sony 90mm macro) and I want to do fish eye wide lens (tokina 10-17 / canon 8-15).
Sometime I print a photo or too, mostly on a3 size.
Which camera should I choose?
only 1 is hard, but I guess it'll be this turtle (Careta careta) photo I shot in Paphos, Cyprus. it kind of remind me of Nirvana Nevermind album.
Sony a6300 (Fantasea housing), Sigma 16mm lens, f/8, 1/200, iso 160.

But I like the trend of uploading more pictures so...
Due to an upgrade, I'm selling my beloved set. It's ready for diving; just add strobes and go diving!
The complete list is attached in a table; all the gear was taken care of with love after every dive and stored in a closed box. Some of the equipment still has the boxes.
The set is ready with a Sony 16-50 lens and a Sigma 16mm lens, but ports are suitable for Sony 50mm macro and Sony 10-18mm.
Currently prefer to sell it as a set and not to divide it.
Price- 3110$ (price for this set new is about 4350$)
You can see pictures I've taken with this set on my IG: https://www.instagram.com/sagi_underwater/
So if I want to use the Nikonos RS 13mm on my Nauticam NA6600 (sony a6600), I need to convert the lens into a sony 50mm lens body and buy a port for it? Or is there an option to use it as is with a wet adaptor?
Thank you for your answer!
To my understanding, the lens has either AF or MF.
How do you use both?
If I want to use DMF, the lens needs to be on MF.
Also, how would you reccomend to costumize the buttons (C1, C2, C3)?
I never used the back button focus, I usually go for half shutter press and hold.
Tips on how to use it? Which focus mode should the camera be on for this?
Hey all
I recently purchased the Sony 90mm Macro lens, and I'm debating whether to use it on AF or MF modes.
Sony a6300 in a Fantasea housing, with the port system described in the picture.
Until now, I used the Sony 50mm Macro in AF mode, and it was very slow, but on the 90mm, the focus is faster and better.
Sony users- what's your take on this?
Thanks for the new forum!
