attach your dive computer to your camera?
I have a ULCS arm loaded with Stix floats horizontally across my housing. My dive computer straps on to that. It's very easy to read by just glancing up. And then if I'm diving without a camera - very rare! - I can just unbuckle the computer and wear it on my wrist. Sorry, traveling for work so can't post a photo.

Is anybody housing land strobes these days?
Subal still make housings for some Canon and Nikon flashguns. http://subal.com/c5c17/Light_Flash/Flash_Housings.aspx

Sony A7 advice
There are days when I'd like to take a hammer to my gear..... but happily not too often. I do agree though on not needing the biggest or best. I decided lugging FF gear around was beyond my nuisance threshold and moved back to an APS-C system. Not regretted it for a second.

Hello from the UK
Hey Kirsty! Great to have you with us and welcome to Waterpixels. We hope you find the forum really useful and that you become a regular - and a big contributor. D500? I'm a huge fan and went back to DX after a few years with an FX, D800

Retra Strobes and equipment
Thanks Oskar. I've just retried with a set off freshly charged Eneloop batteries and the flicker had disappeared. So less than fully charged batteries may well have been the issue! My bad. I've updated my earlier post.

Adobe Lightroom
Nothing really significant on 13.2 that I noticed. There were all sorts of things in 13.0: altering the DOF, changes to the Mask options; impressive new De-noise option. I know LR has its critics (mainly on price and the subscription arrangement) but the way it has developed over the years and as a package with PS for less than £10 a month is, I think, a good deal - and I really hate the software subscription model and avoid it if at all possible.

Underwater Photography Abbreviations
Thanks. Added! We had Final Cut Pro in original I think, but it was edited to the lens version.

What do you carry your camera rig in?
Super idea for Bonaire. Yeah, high risk exit location indeed! Entry too. And such a brave comment on Mrs B's purse! 😱

Nauticam Fisheye Conversion Port shipping Mid January
Have you tried adding up the cost of all the gear you take underwater!? I wouldn't drive my car underwater.... (well, I hope not anyway....) and my camera setup cost more. 🤣

Fibre Optic Cables? Make your own....
A case of suck it and see, I think. I watched fibre being installed to my apartment in Sint Maarten and that was WAY longer than 15ft so my guess is, not a problem! I don't think you can split a cable - or at least I've never heard or seen of one - but it's easy enough to drive 2 strobes from one bulkhead using one of the 2-hole Inons bushes. If one cable is essential, could you not use a slave trigger on the second strobe?

ND Filter on strobes for CFWA

Retra Strobes and equipment
There was a new firmware update today from Retra: v1.48 for Pro Max v3.15 for Pro X/Prime X v4.5 for Pro/Prime All on one update (certainly in the Apple Store - can't speak for the Android version) All updated fine, no problem, on my Pro Max. I did find that the slight flicker from the Pro Max pilot light when set to Manual is still there. Retra said sometime ago that that this was not an issue. I must admit though, I hope it disappears in a future update..... UPDATE: My bad, a fresh set of batteries (4x AA) and the flicker disappeared.....
