  1. Hey Turandot! Great to have you with us and a warm welcome to this home for us photo refugees. I’m sure you’ll see many familiar names. We hope you like the site.
  2. Yeah, good point. I was thinking it was a general book list but, yep, it's technique. Perhaps we should start one on fish ID?
  3. Yeah, I had the same reaction as Davide. Nice pic! Nope, never used NDs on strobes and, must admit, I can’t imagine the need given the ability to adjust ISO etc even allowing for wanting a well light background. But then, so what? You used them and it worked nicely. Crack on!
  4. It's the "Boil The Frog" Theory. If Nauticam pushed it to £5715, what's the betting Massimo would pay the £15? Massimo???
  5. It's great to have you with us, Apneagraph. You are most welcome. And please remember, there are no daft questions - only daft answers..... So anything you want to know, ask away.
  6. Yeah, sounds fabulous but hard to justify if you do a couple of dive trips a year. Rental would be nice!

  8. Brilliant! How about I go for $199? Always a convincing figure I thought.....
  9. Ooooo, let me check that. Sorry, svilen. I thought you could. Anyway, all done - no worries
  10. Hey, no worries. Great to have you here. You were a super contributor on WP. 👍🏼

  14. I can't say I've had that experience with the current Nikkor 60mm or 105mm or their predecessors. The old 105mm could be slow and sometimes hunted. But once steered in the right direction, it usually stayed on target. The latest 105mm version is very good.
  15. TimG posted a gallery image in Showcase (Photo)
  16. So EMWL and Subal….. Get behind me, Satan. 🤢😱
  17. There seems to be a good few 4TB SSDs around £200 on Amazon UK including Lexar and Kingston. I don’t know how they compare but I was checking them out earlier.

Great to have you with us, Keanu, I mean Bob.... Red pill, blue pill, eh?
  21. If we can get that going, I suggest a separate thread: "Proven 3D zoom gears" or such - and Pin it. The use this thread for the usual idle chatter.......
  22. I thought you'd been quiet. We missed you! Hope your Xmas and NY were good
