A retired British diplomat. I've been a PADI, BSAC and DAN Instructor and, since about 2000, an underwater photographer. I sell lots of images for not very much money.

I've lived and worked all over the place and spent too much time in places that definitely are not in holiday brochures. 

After retiring, I ran a dive resort in the Lembeh Straits for a while and then went back to trying to save the world as a consultant. I gave up after several years. There is No Hope.

So went to the Caribbean and dived. The world then made sense.

Now living in Amsterdam with my Dutch partner who is an excellent underwater model.
