  1. Hi All, Very much appreciate the advice. With Isotta the Ports are very different to the Nauticam selection. So the Nauticam Port advice would not apply. I have not been able to get any technical data on the Isotta Ports. I am using Isotta's selection as per their Port Chart. I have only got the 6 inch Acrylic Dome Port at present. I have used that once so far with the Oly 8mm FE in a pool to test it and it seems to give okay results. I have to still try the 7-14. Hopefully on a dive tomorrow if the weather permits. The UAE coastguard are very conservative. I think I will go ahead and buy the 4.5 inch glass for the 8mm FE, it will be better of CFWA. For the 7-14, I am not sure how much I will use it yet, so after trying it out will see how the corners are at different f stops with the 6 inch dome. For sure the 8 inch dome will be better, but maybe the 6 inch is enough for my uses. I will mostly be using the rectilinear lens only when I travel. Thanks again and I will report results once I have a few dives with this setup. Sundeep
  2. Hi Interceptor, First I must thank you for your excellent articles at your website. I have got a lot out of them. I have been a land photographer for some time and use both Olympus and Nikon systems and only started underwater photography about a year ago using my EM 5 MK II. Your website post on " Choosing A Camera Format For Underwater Photography" helped me to make my decision to stick to micro 4/3 when I recently decided to upgrade my system. I was looking at two options, either the Z8 or the OM 1. For my needs, the smaller and cheaper system will most definitely suffice. Your explanations on the differences really helped me in terms of looking at the cost/benefit ratio. I would very much appreciate if you can explain on the 230 mm dome. I used to use an EM5 MkII and the Olympus housing with 4 inch ports with the 8mm FE and the 9- 18. At present I am using the OM 1 in an Isotta housing with a macro port for my Olympus 60mm and the 6 inch acrylic port for wide angle. I was planning to use both the 8mm Olympus FE and the 7-14 f2.8 Olympus with this 6 inch Port. I would very much appreciate any advice you can give on what would be an optimum setup for me in terms of lenses and ports. I plan to continue to use this system for the foreseeable future. Wishing all of you a great Weekend, Sundeep
  3. Hi Everyone, I am a relatively new diver based in the UAE. Have only been doing underwater photography for about a year now. Mostly been using second hand gear and my old Olympus camera. In the process of upgrading to a better system. I recently discovered this community and already got a lot out of the topics discussed here. Wishing you all great diving and excellent images. Sundeep
