    I moved to YS-D3 (from the YS-D2 (non-J) and they are still working!!) and am very pleased with them, though I've only used them for a 2 week trip this month.

    I've just bought and used a Backscatter Macro Wide 4300 video light, it has a macro mode that is great for a focus light, also has a red light and you can use as a video light when you want to. Easy battery swap (uses the same batteries as the MF-2) too. I went from a Sola Photo and this is definitely an upgrade. I also used this for Blackwater this week and it was great.
