Stunning pic. Like a creature from the deep
I can't see the first pic. Probably because it is in Raw format

Hey everyone
Here are 2 pics I really like from 2023
The first one is a favorite because it reminds me of the first time I swam with a whale shark. First time I had a scuba trip abroad (Maldives)
It was a breath taking moment (literally - I am a terrible free diver) - and I had a bonus : Only when I saw the picture on my computer - I noticed a shark few meters beneath us.
The second picture (yes, I'm cheating too..) has a special meaning for me: This is from the first time my son and I scuba dived together. Wow, what an experience!
(Nikon Z7 2 Nikon 8-15 lens Isotta housing . The first without strobes - the second with two)

Sorry to hear that, usually Sept. is a great month for mantas.. maybe you had to look to the moon phases before of choosing the time, they are very active in the full and new moon..
Been there a couple of times and always got plenty of mantas!
We had full moon. I think I spotted some werewolves but unfortunately - not mantas. The locals was astonished by this unlucky week..

Nice, only a little blueish.
Was there really a week without mantas?? We've been there in August and had anything between 30 and 200 Mantas. Not to mention the nearly everyday whalesharks. "oceanfanaticsreethibeach" on insta were a good source of information.
Yep. No mantas all week...

Hey guys!
I have a bad attitude towards AI. It's frustrating to think that the line between "real" and "fake" is fading.
Unfortunately - the technology is getting better and better thanks to the endless amount of pictures and photos that the AI engines take as a reference without any permission.
Yet, when I edit a picture in Lightroom, I'm also "cheating". Lightroom uses AI without calling it that. Removing backscatters, sharpening blurred objects, etc. Are all part of this revolution.
What are your thoughts?
Here is a "pic" of a tiger shark I created in AI.
Best wishes for the holidays
