  1. Just to sum up, so far and according to you, what is the main selling point of the R5m2 for underwater video compared to Z8, A1 or even R5c ?
  2. The AOI lens is a good addition to GoPro gear. It offers sharper images, a wider field of view, and works perfectly with the 8:7 GoPro aspect ratio. After cropping, you can get great footage in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats. The only downside is that I used to always dive with the Backscatter Macromate (which is also very good), but now I can’t use both simultaneously due to the different lens mounts. As for settings, 4K 8:7 at 60fps, then slow it down to 30fps. With almost everything set to auto, I can always achieve the colors I want in post-processing.
  3. I just want to bring this topic back up because the R5II has been officially announced and specs are available. I'm between the Z8 and the R5II, mainly for video and I'm a little bit disappointed by the R5II videos specs.
  4. Thanks a lot 😁 we’re quite lucky to have these wreck close to our place. Yes, I used the fisheye wet lense from backscater.
  5. Mediterranean wreck 'Le Grec' between 40m and 50m deep, close to Porquerolles, France. GoPro 11 and Keldan 4x.
  6. Hi, long time diver and UW video enthusiast, looking to upgrade from a GoPro to a full frame mirrorless hybrid camera.
