What format do you shoot in?

  1. That is all interesting considering I know for a fact Eric and Jim Watt shoot in JPEG. Interesting more so for Watt as he is making a living doing it.

  2. Part of it for me is that Raw gives me some latitude to screw up exposure and white balance that Watt (and Eric for that matter) might not need. Think of it as a digital safety blanket.

  4. Ok, let me demonstrate why you Fuji S2Pro users should be shooting RAW - especially since write times underwater are not a factor with the S2:

     

    This isn't my image or site, but this is a discussion from another board that led to this guy posting these images shot in RAW format on the S2Pro.

    End of discussion (well end of my thoughts on the subject anyway. RAW = 80 shots per card on a 1gb microdrive).

  5. Talk about having some latitude with the exposure! I certainly couldn't recover that in photoshop.
