Fisrt shots with Nikon D2x and Seacam housing

  1. Hello,

I have been lurking here for a while without posting. I finally had some time to put about 30 shots (from a selection of 300) taken in the Visayas, Philippines.

This was my first trip with a DSLR underwater, I used to shot with F100.

Please have a lot and feel free to comment.

    Best regards,

  4. I am using a Seacam housing with a S45 visor with two Ikelite SS200 manually controled.

  5. what kind of settings on the d2x

  6. Adobe 1998 type II if I remember

    Always ISO 100, between f14 and F26 and 1/60 to 1/90

What else do you want to know ?

  7. very nice gallery

great close-up of the snake with the tongue partway out

  8. That's a fabulous gallery from phillipines.. looks like the 60mm with 2xTC and 17-35 worked well with the Seacam. Those crabs are pretty darn cool!

  9. wow, great shots

    The snake is my favourite

  10. Welcome to Wet Pixel. Very nice gallery Kerpower - you really captured those crinoid critters well, the yellow lobster (crab?) is my favorite.

  11. What else do you want to know ?

    Focus settings?

  12. Very nice results with the 60mm and TC. Does this TC still give auto everything with the 60mm? Looks like an interesting way to go.

  13. You have some great pics there, but I think you spoil it a little with that pigmi seahorse shot, take it out and you'll have a great gallery.

  14. Yes, you have auto everything with the Kenko TC.

I was in autofocus, with one active area and in focus priority

    Cheers,

  15. Great stuff. Super colors and composition. I like your simple gallery layout too.
