Nikon D300

Yes, I thought that would draw your attention - but let's face it, tomorrow I pick up a D200 so the D300 must be waiting in the wings!

So which housing is actually available for the D200 and has the best viewfinder? Paul, I know what your answer will be!

I have been using a Sealux housing for my D70 that has a Grand Viewfinder.

Sealux now sells the same viewfinder to Subal.

I plan to upgrade to the D200 and will most likely stick with Sealux. The viewfinder is one of the besy I've seen.

the Subal ND20 w/ the GS viewfinder is available and a sweet housing.

Last time I bought a housing it was a case of buying the one that was available (in the UK). I think I might well wait until I get to DEMA in November. I have ports for Nexus, Sea & Sea, Aquatica and Subal so I guess I will limit myself to those brands. It seems like only yesterday I bought a first digital camera and its worth less than the first proper film camera I bought in 1966 and still used in the 'nineties!

... or get a Hugyfot housing. They have adapters for all those brands of ports. So you can use one housing with all you previous ports...

I have all those ports because I have all those housings - and all the obsolete cameras to go with them!

I was never naturally a cynic. I learnt the hard way.

So, How long do you think it will take until we see a D200s ?

D300 - heck I would settle for a D75 or D80 that would fit in my D70 (A70) housing and had more than 6.1 MP. Come on Nikon.
