I used the Sigma 150 several times during the Red Sea trip and finally started to get some images I liked with it. This is one of my favourites with the 150mm, some Hawkfish peering over some fire coral:

Alex
It seems that post-processing takes second fiddle to real life, so I am still working through my RAW files. Alex has exercised his formidable talents, especially on the spawning anthias, the rest of us have done our usual things, though perhaps with a little more insight than before. I'm still on my reverse learning curve, and haven't got around to my first forays into the delightful world of close-ups, so here are three wide angles from a very good trip:

Alex,
Did you use the 150mm with the 500D diopter, or without?
Cheers
James
Hey James,
I used the 500D without the dioptre. I still haven't got round to buying one as I am waiting to see what dioptres to get with the new Nikon 105VR, once I can get it in my Subal, that is! I am going to see a friend tomorrow who has a home made port that fits the 105VR, and then I will use Dave's trick with the gear.
Nice pictures, Tim. A particularly elegant looking model in that third picture! Really like the snappers.
Alex
Grea pics everyone! I specially like Alex´s lionfish (both) which lens did you use for the second one?
, Ralphy´s first and Andy´s second, Andy: are you coming this year to Fuerteventura?
HI Davichin,

to sort out a trip to Fuerte this christmas time but the only
problem I have at the moment is I am changing jobs & I do
not know if I can have the time off ![]()
But hopfully I can
work somthing out.
