Some Pictures from Point Lobos

Really nice diving at Point Lobos (Carmel, California) yesterday.

And for those paying attention - yes, Beto did change drysuits between dives. He was testing out a backup suit. I like the bumble bee suit better for taking pictures. The black one just disappears into the background.

Also I'd like to mention that the 16mm fisheye is just totally the wrong lens for shooting mosshead warbonnets - which is why I'm not posting a picture of one.

It was right on top of the reef with the hole in the wall IIRC. Actually stayed out and didn't bolt for a hole like they usually do. Probably was able to differentiate the wide from the macro rig!

Nice stuff. You're not supposed to hold your breath underwater, but those upwards-looking kelp shots are worth it. I prefered the shots with the model not looking into the camera to the ones where he did.

The wide angle anemone shot is cool and I can see some real benefit using a 10.5 and doing some very close focus wide angle stull kinda line this one.
