HI,
Got any pics of your new rig??
Andy.

Sweet... Pics and a few paragraphs about it would be great.

Agreed! I'd love to hear what you think of it. Can you see all of the back LCD with the S45 installed? Is the shutter lever in the optimum place? What do you think of the handles? Also, how much room is there inside the housing - is there much extra? How about the weight?
I'm guessing (and hoping) that it's much the same as the 5D housing.
Cheers

Watch for... "Converting back to Nikon from Canon" by James Wiseman...

Well, here are some pics.
It's a reasonably snug fit, judge for yourself from the pic.
With the S45 attached, I can see most of the rear LCD straight-on, if I tilt the top of the rig forward about 45 degrees, I can see the whole of the rear LCD. Certainly very workable in my opinion. Must say that the photo of rear LCD that is attached is shot from a bit further back than you would actually be viewing from, so the LCD is MORE visible in reality than in the pic.
Shutter control and controls for both the command dials are well situated/reachable with my hand on the handle. Can't really say if it is as ergonomic as my Subal CE50 (which is seamless) until I get it wet.
Complete kit - Housing/SuperDome/Viewfinder w/ camera and lens (sigma 10-20EX) 6.16kg.
If you want more pics, drop me a note and I'll email them to you.
cheers

Wow! Congrats.
There is no better looking housing that a Seacam.

Is the shutter lever in the optimum place?
Seacam can also deliver a vertical shutter lever. I have one installed on my d2x housing. I was used to a lever that way on my Subal F5 and F100 housings. For my that works better than the standard horizontal lever from Seacam.

Do you have a pic of the vertical shutter release option?

Sure I can alway make a picture. Don't mention the mess at the back

Thanks Cronix, it is always nice to see the alternatives.
