There is a new housing in the oven for the D-200. Made by Manelsky (specialized video housing maker on demand for years) in Spain. From what I´ve read comes standard with all controls, Inon/Hugy style 45 degrees viewfinder, arms etc for around 2200€. It uses Sea&sea/Athena ports although conversion rings for different brands are also available. Expect first units for mid-september...

Looks like the veiwfinder nearly blocks the LCD screen? don't think I'd like that.

Someone asked the engineer about that and he said it didn´t it block it and that it even served as a sunshade for the LCD...
As this viewfinder is used on other housings too - they all have the same problem.
I am with kriptap - that I think a good clear view of the LCD screen is essential. As I review my images in detail underwater. Others prefer to just glance at the LCD screen to check it is OK and then get on with shooting. So the importance of this is quite personal.
The housing looks nice. The aperture and shutter speeds look good. As does the AF lock. I note, like many D200 housings, it doesn't have a flash mode button. I'd also liek to see some labelling on the buttons. But generally it looks great.
Not being a D200 owner. How does that price compare with other D200 housings.

It looks like the handles are a bit thight, espacially with thick gloves.
The aperture looks a bit flat to handle with gloves
Hmmm, That's about $1600 less than the Subal w/ viewfinder. From the pictures, it might be a bit smaller too, which is nice.
