Excellent photo essay Tommy. You don't need any words and I feel like I was there.

I especially enjoyed your black and white and in particular 6 with the schooling ?jacks? and number 5 with of the corals is awesome too.

What are you using to shoot it? Some sort of fisheye obviously?

Thanks for your comments. yup they're jacks.

I use a Nikon 10.5mm to get those shot. Quite a good lens to play with u/w.

My set up: D100 in Aquatica housing with a Ikelite s100 strobe.

Beautiful composition and images... love the jacks. I keep going back and forth about giving up my D100 for the D200... And then I see images like these and remember that the D100 produces some damn fine images... and it mostly has to do with the photographer, not the camera!

Cool stuff...I love the B&W and the down shot of the reef. Did you set your camera on B&W or convert it in PS?

I had that thought also. Photography is addictive. I'm planning for my Nikon D2Xs going to burn a big hole in the wallet soon.
