Tok 10-17 and Subal FE

Alex, sorry, I am a bit out of the loop lately. Does Subal make a specific zoom gear for the 10-17 or which zoom gear are you using with it?

I don't know if Subal has an official gear for the 10-17 yet.

Most lenses are very similar in diameter - and it is usually easy to find a gear that fits. I use 5 different zooms underwater, and only one (the 12-24mm) has an official Subal gear - others are all Subal gears that just happen to fit!

I dunno which Subal gear I have on the FCT, but it could be custom made it fits so well.

Brett from Aquatica tells me they're rolling a zoom gear out next week, and that there have been quite a few enquiries.

I machined a 50mm macro ring - took about 4mm off - fits just like a bought one.

Thanks for the infor regarding zoom gear. I guess I will have to talk to Ryan about it eventually In the mean time, I hope there will be a consensus about the extension ring. I am rooting for the 1cm ring since I already have one rather than the 1.5cm ring otherwise, there will be more item on shopping list
