Any suggestions on a good place to post high def video on-line for viewing? A free site would be optimal, but not mandatory.
Thanks!

www.stage6.com seems to be the best at the moment, quality wise. It's owned by DivX and you need to put DivX videos up there. Slow downloads for those without broadband though.

Thanks for the reply, Nick! I do visit Stage6 periodically. The downside is that you have to download and install plug-ins to use Stage6. It does stream some fantastic quality video, though!

After Stage6 you get loads of YouTube wannabes but many with better quailty (and slower download). You could check out the likes of:
Brightcove.com
Google Video
Yahoo Video
Revver.com
Grouper.com
Vimeo.com
Veoh.com
ifilm.com
livevideo.com
vuze.com
bolt.com
motionbox.com
I used to post all my stuff to YouTube and Google Video as well as my own site. Now I'm getting into Brightcove.com which looks like a pretty good service, especially for embedding in your own site. You can encode your own video if you want or use their free Publishpod (2-pass Flash but 30fps only) and you have more control of the player design than other services. See my wori critters thread in the editing forum (which is actually where this should be
) for an example.
Photobucket.com is also worth checking out. Supports video too now.

Yes, all good suggestions. I've used YouTube extensively, and have put stuff on Revver, Google Video, Vuze, and iFilm, but Stage6 seems to have best quality/resolution. Maybe I'll look at all of them again. Things do improve! Thanks Nick!
Are you saying that Brightcove will let you do your own encoding and not re-encode? That's actually great for those of us who have the tools. I get frustrated when I upload a source file to somewhere like Google and they come back with a really crappy FLV.

Yes, if you upload your own Flash video then they won't re-encode.
Their own free Publishpod that you can use to upload will do a fantastic Flash encode as well. It seems to have something like On2 Flix under the hood. It will even do a 2-pass encode to Flash. But the reason that we're not just doing that and are using On2 Flix Pro is that the Publishpod re-encodes everything to 30fps and our stuff is 25fps. But they have 25fps support on their to-do-list apparently.
Then you can set up some nice players that are hosted by Brightcove but embedded in your own site. Such as our Bunaken and Manado video gallery.
