What ports for my S&S DxD50?

  1. I have the following lenses and would like to maximize my use of ports based on what everyone might recommend. I picked up a DX-D50 housing- and I hreviously had 2 YS-90dx's.

    I have the following lenses

    18-55

    12-24

    105VR

    60MM

I also need to decide if I should get the TTL converter.

  2. Get the big dome with the 12-24 extension ring and the 60mm flat port with the extension ring for the 105mm. Also you should get a +2 diopter for that 12-24.

This way you have only two ports for almost all your lens, and if you going to add another lens like tokina 10-17mm you only need to buy the appropiate ext. ring.

I´m not so sure you end using the 18-55 underwater...

TTL is good for macro work.

  3. Hi,

    I also use the same lenses (12-24, 60, 105) at Sea&Sea housing Dx200.

I use the 12-24 with the Big Dome port without any ext ring, results are good.

For the 60mm I use the standard Flat Port.

For the 105 I just got the SX ext ring as Ryan recomnend http://wetpixel.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21767.

    Thanks

    Gadi
