Fish funnies

Here is one of mine.

I'll play!

This one looks more sad. Although the expression makes me smile. A John Dorey:

BTW - this is one of my images from the brand new issue of Wetpixel Quarterly.

nothing amazing about this pic... but the shape of the lil fella's hat always puts a little smile on my face...

Here is my contribution to funny fish faces.

I seem to have struck a responsive chord. Great photos. Keep them coming.

Here is my contribution... This one reminds me of how my Aunt Lillian used to put on her lipstick.

This one always makes me chuckle

Not a great shot, but this little guy's face always reminds me of a canary. Looks like Tweedy Bird (for those old enough to remember).

My son seems to love this clownie with two heads

Cheers,

Diggy

I posted this shot in the favourites thread as well: A shot that is not near to perfect, but always makes me smile (because of the way you look through the eyes. These labrids were just annoying because they would move too fast to take a decent shot (using a 60mm macro).

Somehowe, the whitebalance of the encrusting spongue underneath is off. Cant get that right.

Panda,

That guy made me laugh.

I always have a grin on my face when I see this guy:

One of my favorite style pics, as I'm not that much a true macro shooter these days Even possible with a lowly "kit" lens!

Here you go!

I know, it's not a fish, but this sea cucumber made me smile the moment I saw it doing it's "who killed Kenny" move.

Not fish either, but water critters nevertheless. I was cleaning my boat and the hose was hanging over the end of the dock; these two guys showed up for a 'cocktail'

Just like to say that I'm really enjoying this thread, usually something to put a smile on my face first thing in the morning.

Great work everyone

I SURRENDER !!
