Sounds good that you had a good time there. I also liked Luadi & Michelle's Reef.
The Guides were also fully OK, however more divers per guide compared to Lembeh.
I however do not agree on that they went above and beyond to accomodate our wishes, more on the contrary.
The main reason for us, me and my wife, to go to Tawali was the relatively high chance to get to see Rhinopias.
I believe that we filled out a form some weeks prior to arrival, where we stated this wish. At arrival we also stated this wish.
We were then told that it should be Ok, since they knew exactly where they were at this time ( divespot and rock etc etc). We clearly repeated this wish every evening when being asked. Some of the other guests had been to that divesite a couple of days earlier and saw them. So, the Rhinopias were there.
Did we get to go the dive spot??? No!
Were we disappointed??? Oh Yes!
If nature does not "allow" you to see it, it is of course just to live with it. If it however is down to a poor organization. Then I do not accept it, especially not for an upmarket&pricey dive resort.
It could be that they sorted it out a couple of months later. That did however not help us.
