It depends on which housing you have. From what I understand from other members on wetpixel, the D700 will not fit in the S&S D300 housing. Apparently it won't fit in the Subal or Ikelite housings either
I understand it will fit in the Nexus housing and Aquatica housings though, but don't quote me on that one. -
Matt, Twin Rock is shallow enough for snorkelers so I'm sure the girl just freedived down and took a puff to stay down for fun. I'm sure most people know about the lack of studies on nitrogen loading on developing bodies of children.

You're so MOM today.

Haha...She is 22 yr old local dive master & was trained as UW model. My team was taking pics for next year calender.
Look at Seacam housing+big dome+45 degree view finder that dive giude is taking & is not just for fun.
I will post some sample later on.

Hi, I tried to put d700 into S&S d300 housing last week & found housing is too tight/small
& I could not put it it. Simply has no room.

The laws of physics are unforgiving, they aren't partial to Models, Divemasters or Photographers etc.. If you break the rules, you are asking for trouble....

I think what he is trying to say is that she was breathing off the reg the whole time, she was going down WITH the divers ON the octo, but not wearing any gear so she could model when needed for a photo without being in a suit/SCUBA set.

Well since she's 22, I'll have to say her choice of swimsuit is pretty errr...girlie.

Thanks & yes, that was what we were doing in 3-5m deep. Here is a sample picture(picture taken by my friend).

We noticed that too & she changed it soon....

Thank you Sam! you are always the first one experimenting with new nikon cameras

Your friend uses Canon, doesn´t he?

Thank you. It was possible as I have housing. I think we met on Airplane one time? from
or to Singapore few years ago ?
Anyway, my friend was also, using d700 on Nexus housing but, had different setting.

Surely you'd remember him with that hair.

It is curious that Nikon's highest Megapixel production camera is a compact! -

It is curious that Nikon's highest Megapixel production camera is a compact! To continue off topic, this should be a pretty impressive underwater P&S with manual control, 3"screen and if the advertised shootable ISO is 12800 that's pretty impressive if the images are still acceptable.

Yes! we met on that airplane and it was a very crazy and odd thing getting two wetpixelers sitting by each other on an international flight

The colours (specially the blue around the reef) seemed like the ones from a canon 5D so that is why I asked....
Surely you'd remember him with that hair.Alex

this testing is helpful to me! Thanks for sharing Sam!!

Sorry, but there seems to be some confusion in the postings: D200 or D300 Nexus housing? Was there any adaptation to fit?
Tim

-
Hmm, i need an underwater model...
If the D300 fits in a nexus D200 does that mean a D700 will fit in a D200 nexus housing?
Sorry for going old school and talking about a D200

-
Hi,
I am using Nexus D200 housing modified to use D300 and same modified housing
takes D700. It requires new base plate + I am in process of making new back window
too.
