The difference between your install and mine is the 32K stripe size. I chose the largest value (256K) because I wanted to maximize write sizes due to MLC performance issues. I didn't benchmark though.
You can see the effect of the 32K stripe in the transition to higher performance levels in your benchmarks. It would be interesting to determine what the best stripe setting would actually be. Judging by your good write numbers, I'd say my setting is too high.
Yeah. I was thinking 64KB would be a good one to try. It is easy enough for me to re-do the setup, although the stupid SATA formatting / partitioning "Resource Busy" problem would require the workaround again. It is really frustrating.
